Bonny and Read Seafood: A Premier Dining Experience in Colorado Springs

I sat at the bar and had snow crab. The meal was great added garlic fries and corn on the cob which was +$7 to crab $38. Nice setting (they are expanding into the next space) and great service.

Bonny & Read Seafood is an absolute gem in Colorado Springs! The food is outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish we tried was top-notch, from the seafood appetizers to the main courses. You can really taste the quality and attention to detail. The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and fast without ever feeling rushed. It’s clear the staff takes pride in making sure every guest has a great experience. We also loved that they have pet-friendly outdoor seating, which made it easy to enjoy a great meal without leaving our puppies behind. The patio was comfortable and had a nice relaxed vibe. If you’re looking for amazing seafood, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere (for both people and pets!), Bonny & Read is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed the food here. Came just in time for happy hour and were able to get our fill of blue crab dip, black garlic fries, crab stuffed mushrooms and oysters on a half shell. Everything was delicious and fresh. I’m always hesitant to order oysters in a land locked state but these were delicious and fresh. I was craving clam chowder and they definitely did not disappoint. It was delicious! Our waitress Jennifer was wonderful and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back.

Need more stars! Awesome experience from start to finish. Super respectful staff, best prime rib I’ve had in years, great sides and everything was perfectly timed. The difference maker was our waitress…best ever no doubt, on time, interactive, relatable/genuine and just an all around great person. I stopped by randomly for lunch while visiting Colorado Springs for a conference. It was amazing! I had the lobster grilled cheese special and it was to die for. My espresso martini was delicious, the waitress was friendly and attentive and the restaurant was so attractive. Great lunch!

Always a 5 star experience. We booked for our 30th Anniversary as it’s my favorite place in the city. Offering both seafood and steaks to please both of us!

This is easily one of our favorite restaurants in town, without a doubt. The food, the service, the attention to detail are all on point. We recently visited for our wedding anniversary and had the best experience yet. Chey, our server, was attentive, had all the answers, and even added an anniversary touch to our dessert. We had drinks, apps, entrees and dessert and couldn’t have taken another bite if we tried. Despite ordering so much our bill was super reasonable and reminded me why we will always, always, ALWAYS come back!

This wonderful restaurant has become my go-to for any special occasion. I’ve celebrated birthdays, job promotions, valentine’s day, etc here and every time it’s been outstanding. The service is always kind, attentive, and quick. The cocktail menu is creative and delicious. And the food is OUTSTANDING. The latest dish I tried was the halibut stuffed with lobster and it was to die for. Don’t sleep on the happy hour here either, the garlic fries and crab dip are excellently priced and delicious!
